40th Birthday Celebrations
St James' RC Primary School will be celebrating its 40th Birthday in April 2010.
The school was opened on 14th April 1970 with Miss Lennon as Headmistress and Father Wright as the parish priest of St James the Great.
Events planned at the school to celebrate are:
Friday 23rd April |
Mass at school celebrated by Bishop Lynch for all current pupils, staff and families followed by a "bring your own" picnic and games afternoon for the current children of St James', all family members welcome. |
Saturday 24th April |
U18s Reunion Disco for all "old" St James' pupils under 18 Tickets £5 to include soft drinks and pizza |
| Saturday 24th April 8pm - midnight |
Adults' 70s Disco for "old" St James' pupils, current parents, "old" parents & staff Tickets £25 to include drinks reception and buffet |
| Sunday 25th April 3 - 5 pm |
Afternoon Tea for everyone who has ever been involved with the school past and present. |
